Check out Moses Supposes fashion shoot below, a shoot inspired by the Korean drama, Boys Before Flowers. If you don’t know the K-drama, the infamous men of F4 in the show are high-class Korean high school boys who dress to the tee in every episode, which is why Moses is dressed up in bows and ties. Cute huh?!
Moses Supposes is a Midwest American boy, but the world is his playground. He loves to travel and get to know the world through friendships with locals, and in foreign communities via couch surfing and volunteering. “I like to volunteer. I think it is important to give back to communities and spread good karma in the cosmos” says Moses during our interview. This soft-hearted fellow has volunteered in orphanages in Armenia, Korea, Mexico, and Zambia. By working in several countries he’s managed to discover his love of adventurous outdoor hobbies. He’s climbed mountains, volcanoes, jungles, scuba-dived, and has even explored several ancient archaeological sites in both hemispheres. Moses has followed the footpaths of western civilization from modern capitols of the world all the way back to the Fertile Crescent. You can find Moses on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/moses.supposes.9.
Q. What are your biggest passions?
I have a wide variety of interests and a vigorous self-motivation to pursue everything that makes me happy. Strongest among which are women, food, literature, nature, neo-classical and modern aesthetics, and self-education through experience.
Q. How did you first become interested in what you do? & why is it important?
I had a habit of listening to elders when I was young. One thing that stuck with me was “you’ll be old before you know it.” I didn’t want to turn around at 60 and think, what happened to my youth? After high school, I decided to start living. Every year I made sure to do something amazing that I would always remember. In this way, no year would slip away. A few examples:
2004: earned my Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts.
2005: I left the country for the first time and went to Armenia to work at an orphanage for handicapped children.
2006: moved to Mexico for five months to study abroad.
2007: earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, flew to Africa to help a non-profit organization build a community school and support an orphanage there.
2008: traveled across Europe, Northern Africa, and Fertile Crescent.
2009: fell in love.
2010: earned my Master’s Degree in Education.
2011: taught abroad in Italy and Austria. 2012: opened a tri-lingual library in a village near Oaxaca, moved to Korea to teach.
2013: still living the dream and moving on to swim with whale sharks
Q. As an expat living in Korea, how would you describe the Korean fashion scene?
The Korean fashion scene is top notch. I frequently dress to the nines and no one bats an eye. I trust fashion brands that come in a number instead of an abstract concept of medium or large.
Q. What would you say to other liberal artists like yourself seeking general creative advice while living in Korea?
Say yes to opportunities to interact in domains outside your own. Make time for personal-growth and push yourself. Surround yourself with the people that have the qualities you admire. Do more.
Q. What fashion style or advice would you like to see on District Gal?
I would enjoy seeing features on young professionals dressing for a black tie affair, work-casual, and street casual.

I think pickup lines are counterproductive and insincere. I prefer natural conversation beginning with the basics. Lame? sorry! :O
The natural approach is one of the best. Although, pick up lines can be cheesy, they can make a smile. eh? 😉
I’ve never actually bothered with a pick up line, but here’s something I’ve always wanted to hear: “Jameson. Neat. On the house.”
My Best Pick up lines? OMG. I never had one before. haha. But for Moses?
“Wanna build a sustainable house in Rwanda with me?” hehehe 😉
