Platoon Kunsthalle is in the trendy area of Apgujeong in Gangnam district! The building is a truly unique space for art exhibitions, fashion, film, art, and much more. All the chicest areas are on this side of town Sinsa’s Garuo-sugil the tree-lined shopping street, upscale Cheongdam-dong (the Manhattan of Seoul), and Gangnam’s popular underground shopping.
Platoon hosts a night flea market every 1st Saturday of the month that is a must-see. It’s not dirt cheap but the prices are reasonable ranging from 5,000 won – 70,000 won depending on the seller you visit. The event brings in fashionistas from all over Seoul that you feel like “where were all these people hiding!” It’s a spot where most Koreans aren’t afraid to stand out. It would probably best to get there early, you can see lines forming up outside to get in before the events starts!
