In Chicago, you can parade down the streets in any of your favorite looks from retro or punk to hip hop…Whatever your style is, Chicago has room for you. I learned how to embrace my feminine style with a touch of badass to keep up with the pace of the city.
I had to move around a lot growing up here. To name a few, McKinley Park, Little Italy, Wrigleyville (Go Cubs!), Andersonville, and Rogers Park are all neighborhoods I’ve lived in. It was easier to get to work on the “L” from these locations. Early in my career most of my work was in The Loop, at Old Town, and on the Magnificent Mile. Every day I woke up with joy to say good morning to the beautiful view of the Chicago skyline. If you’ve wondered how the word ‘District’ came about maybe this gives you an idea of how the blog name was born. I moved around just the same in Korea and this lifestyle has been reflected in my sense of fashion.
Now, let’s talk DGal fashion! In big cities like ChiTown and Seoul most of the time your lifestyle is on-the-go and so is your fashion. Another thing these two cities share is that the weather is unpredictable, regardless of what the season really is. Now that it’s spring we want to feel fresh! We’re ready to change the pace, put all those winter clothes away, and show off our cute floral, off the shoulder tops around town. Still, sometimes the temperature doesn’t feel right for open toe shoes and the last thing anyone wants is to catch is a cold. To remedy the dilemma, here are 3 spring dresses you can pair with boots: #SeoulShopping
All looks are paired with wine colored boots and a 100% Cruelty Free Vegan Leather 88 Beige Handbag We say YES to #ecofashion! (Have you heard of 88 bags before?)
I would love to bring more K-Styles stateside so leave a comment about which pieces you’d love to wear in the comment section below. Feel free to also comment with which K-Styles you would like to see DGal feature. Stay updated for the SPRING GIVEAWAY coming your way real soooon!!
